The re-educated Adams and Eves were a group of 212 of Operation Ark's original colonists who were re-educated with neural education and training machines by Dr. Pei Shan-wei so that they would remember the history of the Terran Federation and the Gbaba threat.
Thanks to Dr. Pei, all the re-educated Adams and Eves were listed as living in the Alexandria Enclave in the official Operation Ark personnel roster, while they actually lived in enclaves all over Safehold, like Tellesberg. When Alexandria was destroyed during Shan-wei's Rebellion, the 212 were assumed dead, and were able to live their lives in their various new homes, preserving their memories for future generations.
