The halberd was a two-handed pole weapon that consisted of an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft.
The weapon came to prominent use during the 14th and 15th centuries on Earth, and was later re-used on Safehold. The Temple Guard as well as the Charisian Royal Guard both used halberds. (OAR)
