The Terran Federation Navy used a number of different starship types:
- Scout Ship – A small, yet fast ship used for scouting and courier services.
- Destroyer – A small warship used to screen larger warships in battle.
- Heavy Cruiser – A medium-sized warship of about 750,000 tons.
- Dreadnought – A heavy warship used as a Task Force flagship.
- Carrier – A large warship that launches and recovers fighters.
